Cleaning in Spanish


This video helps one learn Spanish phrases for common chores. These are essential for household duties, teaching your children, working as a housekeeper, etc. The phrases are below. I have translated the Spanish phrases spoken in the video. The video provides both a the words in Spanish, a picture, and a translation. Since I am a visual learner this helps a bunch!

Cleaning:
Sweep the floor.
Take the broom.
Throw away the trash.
Sweep the room.
Change the towels.
Empty the trashcans in the hallway.
Clean room 210.
Change the empty food trays from the buffet.
Wash and fold the bed sheets.
The shirt is in the wardrobe.
The pillow is in the wardrobe.
The rug is dirty.
The bed sheets are in the drawer.
The books are in the shelves.
Where is the soap?
There are no clean towels.
The shower is dirty.
The wall is dirty.
The dishwasher is full.
I need another saucepan.
The sink is full of dishes.
The table is dirty.
I need a mug.
I need a clean knife.
Could you bring me a spoon?
The clothes are in the wardrobe.
I will set the table.

These phrases will help a lot in my future as a missionary and as a mother.
